The Sea

I feel like I'm drowning in a dark cold sea,
And there is no one to come and rescue me.
I'm too far out to swim to shore,
And I'm way to tired to try anymore.
The sea is dark and I don't know which way is up,
And the harder I try the more I get stuck.
The sea gets so tight to where I can't breathe,
And the sea gets so dark to where I can't see.
My body aches from front to back,
And I'm needing air so I can relax.
The sea is killing me in every possible way,
And the sea refuses to let me see a brighter day.
The sea gives me no hope for seeing a peek of light,
And what do you know...The sea is life!
