World War II

by lostlllsoul   Jul 9, 2005

The war of nerves , of threats and atrocity stories last week turned into a war of gun.

September 11 1939
The Second World War has just started
The damage imposed of human destiny will never be forgotten
Six year of painfully memories yet to be collected

Marching with Hitler
For Germany's shame of the past
Formulating the term Nazi
In name of war the pain surpassed

America in revulsion from the First World War
Wall Street Crash, The Great Depression, American First
The people strongly expressing deplore
Our beautiful world has been reversed

Attack of the Pearl Harbor
Japanese together with the Axis Pact
All in search of power
Another page of history, filling with facts

Then came April 1945
Soviet troops entered Berlin
Causing Hitler to take his life
Rheims, France and Germany started falling

'Enola Gay' released over Hiroshima
The extermination of 80,000 people
Three days later another dilemma
The second atomic bomb had been ample

On board the Missouri
September 2 1945
The surrender of the Japanese
Bringing us to life
