How I felt

This isn't really a poem, it was just something i put together when i was talking to somebody that did mean a lot to me!!

The music was all I heard,
When I saw your face,
I knew right then,
I wanted you,
The dance felt like it could last all night,
Just because I had you with me,
When I talked to you,
I knew you weren’t just a sexy MAN
You were romantic, funny, and charming,
When you told me to play my cards right,
I got so happy, that I just wanted to scream,
Like have just won a million dollars,
But than I saw,
If I had you it would be more than a million dollars,
I would have somebody with me,
That I believe wouldn’t treat me like I was some kind of thing,
To get with and be on his way……………..
