You may have tried to leave
but you can't succeed
Because she's what you want
but I'm what you need
And if you want to escape
with your heart you should plead

Although we've had problems
and a lot of mistakes
Our hearts remain close
despite steps that we take
And we keep going strong
when you press on the brakes

Do you think I enjoy
this up and down parade?
Did you think that I'd like
Having my love betrayed?
I still believe in us
thats the reason I've stayed!
Cause that's love, Baby.

So treat it with care, this heart that I give.
Cause if I can forget, then you can forgive.

    Chalk it up to another good one. Come on - write another.

    Write one about a long lost love who opened his heart again and then slammed the door. One who talked smack and then ignored you. Then once you confronted him, he said he was with another and apologized. Then said he was just caught up in the moment.

    I try to express that but you seem to hit the nail on the head.............
