Crystal heart

by xXx Expecting xXx   Jul 10, 2005

I see the way they walk
i see the way they live
the passion held inside me
is the passion i fear to give

i see the way they laugh
i see the way they cry
the things i have held deep aloof
make me wonder why

i see the things i need
i see the things i love
but all i get back in return
is the pain in a secret shove

i see the light and pray
i see the tunnels end
and all i ask is for the strength
to make it round the bend

i see the pouring water
i see the thirst filled life
and all i do is sit and watch
and fill the world with strife

i hold my feelings back
i live in secret art
ill hold it in until i break
out through this crystal heart

This is a really great poem. Told from the heart, itself. And also, thank you for the comment. It was greatly appreciated. >:)

Beautiful... I love this poem, the way it feels real and not forced it's great (yeah I'm at school right now to, I live near the border of N.C. and S.C. in Rutherford County)
