Don't You People See

Don't you people see,
the ones who don't
cut or bleed.

The one's who just
say we're dumb, just like slum,
but what cutters do
is a need, a must.

Physical wounds heal,
Emotional wounds never go away,
and stay with a permanent seal.

Even though it's temporary relive,
it's scary to know,
and your always filled with sad grief.

So please don't look down on us
who fell the tender blade among our body, or see the scars covering the beautiful satin skin.

For the scars will mend but our emotions only bend and the light in our eyes will forever be dim.

This may be something you don't want to be,
but you need to see your a lot like him, her, and ME.
