Only the Best (revised)

Lay Your head on silken white cloth
And rest Your feet on an ivory Pedi-stole
With pillows of down fluffed and frothed
And sheets embrace You of Egyptian cotton,

Bitter sweet smells roll through the air
As the night lays down a black veneer
You run your fingers through my hair
Softly I begin to shed a tear,

You are worthy of only the best
So as I lay my head down to rest
I worry is there something I haven’t done
To express to You, all of my love,

The world I would hand over to You
My life I would place in Your hands
Only to You I am forever true
I hold You in eternity’s plan,

And if only I could
You should know that I would,

Lay Your head on silken white cloth
And rest Your feet on an ivory Pedi-stole
With pillows of down fluffed and frothed
And sheets embrace You of Egyptian cotton.
