Dying Hope

by Grant Pringle   Nov 2, 2003

You sat in this spot next to me
And answered each question about what we would be
With each word uttered
I coughed, chocked, and sputtered.
I want to spen out lives together
But you say that it may not happen ever
I'm so lost without you by my side
I just want to run and hide,
Away from all this pain and torment
All of this I cannot forget
What am I supposed to do,
When I look at my future and there's no you?
