I see you

by TORN   Jul 12, 2005

I see you watching me as i
walk
i see you watching me as i
talk
i see you watching me as i
play
i see you watching me as i
yell go away
i see you following me
to my door
i see you following me to
the store
no matter if i try to run and
hide
you will be there smiling
with pride
then one stormy night your
on my front poruch
you break the window
and roll on to the floor
i run fearing for my life
but you catch me and i see
a knife
i plead with you to spare me my
life
he said on one condition you'll
be my wife
Ive watched you now everyday
but this pain still wont go away
i look at him as if he was crazy
i said sir i don't know you you must have me confused for a different lady
i don't know you and Ive never caused you pain
his eyes came up with anger and
rage
yes you do you just don't remember
you were don't in Washington last
December
you turned me down time and time
again
but i wont let you go not with the
rage within
i told him i was sorry and i just wasn't interested
I told him I'm still a kid.
He walked away out of my house
but there was something i couldn't figure out
why would he come all this way
just to make sure the price i would pay
so be sure who's feeling you hurt
in the end you can end up as dead as dirt
