I dated a boy who i loved
i guess he didn't love me
he liked my best friend
so i guess he played me

one day he went out of town
but we still talked often
i guess he found a new girl
that he could caress and soften

why did he act this way
why did he do this to me
i loved this boy
but i guess he didn't love me
