They Knew They Had Killed That Girl

by CHOKE   Jul 13, 2005

Behind my back they talk about me,
inside, the pain kills me.
They come up to me, and say some kinda remark that they know will make me cry,
why do they do this to me, why?
One day they come to school,
acting like they're all that, acting so cool.
They walk to their class and take a seat,
the teacher stands up in front of the class, she looked so sad, so beat.
They sit there wondering whats going on,
then the words from the teacher came out...she's gone!
They wonder who she's talking about.
Then in a mumbled shout,
they hear her name.
They feel bad they only thought it was a game.
The teacher said it was suicide.
The guilty kids said they were her best friends, but that was a lie.
They went home that day,
told their parents, but didn't know quite what to say.
They had nightmares that night,
they were filled with so much pain and fright.
They couldn't take the pain,
so together they decided to go because they couldn't stand the pain.
they said bye to the world,
because they knew they had killed that girl.
