A Teen Misguided

by Ashleigh   Jul 14, 2005

A young teen living in an old world of feigns
Where the only thing that matters is the "greens"

Patiently awaiting a time to get rich, going about it the wrong way
But quick "greens" is the means that we seem to have to face, they say

Education is the basis of a one-sided mind
An education of the streets is the misguided kind

These teens these day stew in their morbid retrospections
The past is not what matters in the present, its what you see in your reflection

Not your actual appearance, but through your eyes, on the inside
An education of the streets and only the streets is the misguided kind of mind

We've been told that "the strongest will survive" and that "the smart will strive"
So what is todays teens strength, what keeps them alive

Most say it is their knowledge of "the streets", when it really is their knowledge of "the life"
If "the life" of a teen is fast pace, a "hussle and bussle" kind... please be reminded
most teens, all teens are misguided
