My Sonnet 43

by Victoria   Jul 14, 2005

How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.
I hate thee to the depth; I wish you’d fall in the sea
Or fall off a cliff while thinking of me
From the beginning I’ve asked myself why
“Why didn't i get rid of that guy?”
They told me you were the one
But you were mister wrong from day one
I hate thee with a passion
From sun up to sunset
You have the worst taste in fashion
And you know those colors don’t match
I hate and wish to lose you in a storm
Frowns, and tears of all my life-your breath is harsh
Oh why don’t you let go of my arm
