Alone

by Br0k3N   Jul 15, 2005

Her eyes are open but she cant see,
She's like a lock without a key,
She feels alone when there's people near,
When it comes to death there is no fear.

She closes her eyes to escape it all,
She's on a building about to fall,
And right before she hits the ground,
Back to reality she is found.

She has a voice that no one hears,
She covers her eyes to hide the tears,
She's misunderstood and doesn't know why,
Late at night you can hear her cry.

Upon her wrists lay many scars,
Her door to heaven is blocked by bars,
She feels stuck in her life called hell,
Her head is ringing like a bell.

She feels there's one thing left to do,
And that her life is surely Through,
She fills her glass and pops the top,
Takes a pill but does not stop.

Her veins twist as her blood runs cold,
As she forgets the things she once was told,
A strike of pain as she lets out a cry,
Then a beam of light as she begins to fly.

Hey this was a really good poem
you did a really good job with the rhyming and everything flowed together very nicely

only critizism i have is that i think you might have a spelling error: ..."Her head is wringing like a bell." i think you meant ringing
besides that i think you did a wonderful job
