Honesty

by Forsaken Lullaby   Jul 15, 2005

Honesty is a virtue
or so they say
But being with you
has made me see
Honesty is nothing
Honesty isn't about truth at all
Its about being tore apart
From everything they say
You said you were honest
But still I knew it was all lie
You told me honesty is a virtue
But the more I think on it
Honesty is fake
Its not there to build us up
Its there to tear us down
and rip us apart
No matter how close
we think we are
If Honesty is a virtue
than lying must be a freedom
We all lie and we never stop
What we don't realize
is that Honesty
is the same as a lie
It could tear us down
and rip us part
one by one we will fall
and one by one
we will die
Cold and Lonesome
Theres no way Stopping it
Theres nothing we can do
But to keep on going
Even though we know
What our end will be
