Not a friend

by TaTtErEdXhEaRt   Jul 16, 2005

I watch the clock hands tick
sitting alone again
You said you'd be right here
what a perfect friend

I hold my breathe for once
watching a car drive by
I always fall the victim
of every single lie

I wait for you to call me
with some pre made excuse
and think thats its ok
to put me through abuse

I'm sick of getting played
this game just isn't fair
theres no way this is right
you really must not care

I get tired of hearing I'm sorry
and tired of whispered goodbyes
a friend like you, a friend not true
is a friend jammed full of lies.
