When you look at me,
what do you see?
Do you see a girl that tries her best?
And would die to impress?
Do you see my flaws
or do you see some good qualities?
Can you see that I care what other people think?
Can you see that I worry all the time
and hope that people accept me for who I am?
Or do you see my confident act
that I want people to believe is the real me?
Do you see that I am scared to die
and scared about what happens after death?
Do you see me as a confident Christian,
or a confused and lost Christian?
Do you see someone who wants to be loved
and held when she cries?
Do you see a lonely girl that loves her friends
and doesn't know what she would do without them?
Do you see a girl with a high self esteem
when on the inside it is as low as the ground?
Do you see me as I see me?
Or do you believe my convincing act?
