Do I deserve?

Sometimes I feel like I desert you all,
I spend too much time away,
I feel like I don’t deserve the respect,
You show me everyday.

I have the greatest friends ever,
Am I worthy of them being here?
Sometimes I think I deserve so much less,
Than the greatness that is so well and near.

I feel that they really must hate me,
And stay with me only to prevent my end.
I give lousy advice and am so vain,
They can’t like me, I don’t deserve a friend.

I feel as though they are lying,
And for me they actually feel hate,
I know I don’t deserve their undying closeness,
Because happiness came not in my fate.

The respect, love and goodness,
That they are always serving
The help and companionship,
Am I really deserving?
