Please Smile

by Eric Muhlenfeld   Jul 17, 2005

You look so sad, I know how you feel,
I’m getting ready to let someone else take the wheel,
Today is the day i die, it was the best day of my life,
I had not a single worry, care, or strife,
I skipped work, I turned off my alarm clock,
I got a singing telegram that was a shock
As I held the blade my hands didn't even shake,
Today I told my secret love how I felt,
On my way home I didn't wear a seat belt,
With out a need for a reality check
I held the blade against my neck,
It was cold,
My legs began to buckle and fold,
I decided to break my T.V. I hate that thing,
Let the world know that there was no suffering
