Love that was true

Once in a while you find someone
who you love with all your heart
who takes your breathe away
each and everyday

once in a while you give up yourself
just to be by their side
you hold them tight and don't let go
whisper in their ear, "i love you so"

sometimes you think you cant live
without them to guide your way
sometimes you lose your breathe
with each a every word they say

sometimes you think to yourself
does he know what I'm thinking of
does he know that he is my world
and without him i have no soul

once in a while you get lucky
and he returns the love back
and u sit their gazing at each other
not knowing how to act

sometimes he brakes your heart
and leaves you there to fall apart
you cry and cry for months
wish and pray for him to come back

then one day you realize
that he's not what he seemed like
he was just someone there
for you to think of

one thing is for sure
that boys will come and go
sometimes they will leave a mark
and sometimes it wont even show

but first and foremost
the most important thing
is to choose the right one for you
and for it to be true

at times with the love comes pain
dealing with it is hard to explain but the hardest thing to do
is to forget the love that was true
