Beautiful Lies

by kellie goldman   Jul 20, 2005

This girl everyone sees, yet nobody knows.
She's filled with beautiful lies inside.
This girl with nothing left in her soul,
Only memories of the times she cried,
The times when things were right
All of that, her past life: gone now.

This girl everyone knows of,
But no one dares to say Hello.
She lives a life of beautiful lies,
As mixed thoughts run through her head.

This girl everyone sees as happy,
Inside she's dying,, feeling the bruises and burns.
Nothing can stop her,
She's following her mind.
As the silent screams stay unheard,
Not a single head turns.

The beautiful lies of a girl who cries,
All those lies are soon gone.
She takes the knife,
With no thought at all.
She writes one last letter,
Then ends her life.

Goodbye to you all,
I'm sorry, but you saw it coming.
From the start, in my blood I would crawl.
Now I can burn in hell.
I'm rotten, I know, but all I ever did was quietly yell.
