Falling In Love Isn't That' Great

by kathy   Jul 20, 2005

Falling in love isn't that great,
For with that love, there's also hate.
Knowing how you feel about them is so cool,
Seeing their face, it makes you stare and drool
You feel so happy, you feel that it's fate,
but take it from me, it isn't that great.
Having that want, that need, that desire,
Just looking into their eyes, makes you fly higher
You want to tell them everything you feel,
You think they'll understand, you think it's for real
the courage finally comes, and you're ready to tell
About all the feelings you have for them, and you plan it well
Though when you tell them exactly how you feel about them
They have no idea what to say, you feel like you've committed a sin
Thinking to yourself, "Why won't they answer me?"
Should they smile, isn't their heart filled with glee?
then after an eternity passes by without say,
they just turn around and walk away.
Your heart is broken, your feelings are torn,
It's just like the world has ended, and then you morn.
Knowing now what you did was a mistake,
See? Take it from me, love isn't that great.
