Just A Simple Woman

by Ann Stareyes   Jul 20, 2005

Just a simple woman
Never asked for riches or gold
Only a life filled with love
A blessing to be told.

Values that were passed down
From parents to a child
The true meaning of life
That now let's me smile.

Tears will sometimes fall
Having strength is the key
Seeing right from wrong
And the way things should be.

Always try to find goodness
In every heart you know
And if you look deep enough
It will surely show.

Always have a loving heart
Extend a helping hand
Never will you have regrets
You'll know where you stand.

Just these simple ways of life
Has blessed me so much
Being a plain, simple woman
That God has surely touched!!
