Deadly Seven

by Sathish kumar Parameshwaran   Jul 20, 2005

Heart emblazed by little hot under the collar – Anger,
Mind shadowed by an emanated dark smoke – Envy,
Body slowly slumped into a slayer’s arms – Sloth,
Gravely gulped more, than a starving animal – Gluttony,
Trekked along rugged path, leading to a graveyard – Greed,
Tongue poignantly dipped into a poisonous pond – Pride,
Like a lecherous beast, licked the flesh of women – Lust,

A Human, impure by – Sins, Deadly Seven,
Immured in a demonic carcass,
Let any of these impurities thy forte forever,
Perceive thy soul demise,
Feebly yielding to an inhuman in rise.
