I Won't Feel A Thing

It never ends,
I'll always be this way.
I'm not quite dead yet,
but I'm losing grip on everything.
My heart has blackened,
and I walk alone.
No one notices,
and no one cares.
I'm a tortured soul,
and a demented dreamer.
You may be my weakness,
but you'll never see me.
Please leave me alone,
I promise I won't feel a thing.
