What Would You Do?

What would you do if the one you loved was going to die?

What would you do if 1 day your mother came home from the doctor

Then talked to your father but began to cry

You don't know what's happening and no one will tell

Then you hear that she is sick, doesn't have long, this is it

What would you do if you saw your dad

Awake at night trying to be a man

He's holding his tears back trying not to cry

And praying to God that his dear wife won't die

With his hand on his face holding his head,

He See's the love of his life on the bed,

What would you do if she's going to work,

Always so happy like nothing is hurt

She tells you she loves you whenever she can,

And sings to you as she is holding your hand,

She doesn't know that you know but she looks in your eyes

And you wish she would lie and say its alright

That she will not die and take out the fright in your heart.

What would you do? How would you live?
