Bloody revenge

I used to look into his eyes
and I'd see all the lies
he could never disguise
the way he really felt

he'd whisper in my ear
the words I'd hate to hear
they hurt like a spear
driving through my heart

he used to kiss me gently
and hold me tight
as he told me those lies
so I'd try to fight
but the lies he told
and the things he did
the girls he'd seen
I'll never rid
the visions i have
of him with another
she was better than me
and so were the others

he saw so many of them
and i never knew
but when i found out
what else could i do?
when i looked in his eyes
and saw all the lies
i grabbed the knife
and took his life
