In looking in the mirror
to see if I will appear
as a young girl
ready to uncurl
but no, i chose to act older
like my life is a file folder
it effected my looks
as I looked through past yearbooks
i dress to impress
but thats not how I should dress
i should go back to that little girl
that was ready to uncurl
