I lay here awake night after night
thinking of our time that we spent
feeling so free
being so careless
sounds like a dream
my love for you was so much
but now that your gone
i feel nothing
I'm just a empty shell of what i
used to be
now i walked this forsaken earth
devastated by the harsh
reality of death
i sit in my room waiting for these
pills to work so i be with my love
for all eternity

    I love this poem. i relate to it so much. My best friend Davey was murdered and was taken from me. I lay in bed every night wishing and thinking of every possible way to be able to see him at least once again or at least say Good-bye. i hope you're o-tay! 5/5 please read and comment my poems. thanx
