How I See You Now

by TragicRomance   Jul 22, 2005

I thought I had the perfect guy,
a guy who never told a lie;

I looked at you, thought I saw love,
thought you were sent from up above

I thought you'd be forever there,
but in the end, you never cared;

Everything you ever said was untrue,
You said you loved me, and then it's through;

I guess so much for my perfect guy,
you left, and never told me why;

Maybe someone should help you understand,
what it takes to be a man;

Look back on what you said,
now your life is as good as dead;

I guess I was expecting way to much,
I am no longer longing for your touch;

I thought you were my best friend,
but it didn't turn out that way in the end;
