As the windows to reality open
Into my head fly thoughts of you
Remembrance of the day we met
Colors that circle your horizon
Lines that cut through your spirit
Shapes that make your circumference
And pieces that are made from life
To hear your voice is so soothing
To see your face is so comforting
To feel, to touch your hands
To smell the mixtures on you
To kiss, to join your lips with mine
These are the amazing moments in my life
Over the years I have seen you
I’ve known you for so very long
Not till now do I live in you
And not till now do I come to think
Maybe you are the one for me
The one that I am to love
Soon to find and soon to hold
Soon to make part of my life
As old memories fade into existence
My life amazingly becomes reality
My thoughts become life for me
And you become my future
