I lay awake and wonder why
Why we scream, why we cry
Than I saw the flash of light
That led me through this world of fright
Broken hearts are upon our day
Killing our love in every way
They shine there fury through the mist of our eyes
Our tears are hidden beneath our lies
Happy memories have gone away
So there in the darkness you must stay
You don’t feel the need to be just you
You must be all the things they want you to
So don’t you see its sucking you in
The happy times have came and went
Lets fight until all is fought
To desperatly seek the memories forgot
So hold on for awhile longer…and one day it will mend
For if its not a happy ending…it must not be the end.
