Taken Higher

I have one question that I'd like to ask to you,
and to this question I'd like an answer too,
have you ever been taken higher,
been given any important desire,
lost all need for material things,
no need for money or fancy rings,
and all comfort comes from one,
to you have these things been done,
because I have been taken higher,
no longer lost within the fire,
the fire that we so often call life,
no longer do I live in strife,
I've been taken to a higher place,
a mental bliss within her face,
no need for what most men desire,
because she has taken me higher...
