The girl of my dreams

by Roulin   Jul 28, 2005

Whenever I see the girl that I love,
I blush, then I stare into her Ebony eyes,
I tell her I'm lost in empty worlds of my own
How do I tell of the simple complexity I yearn to tell?

When she saw me for the last time for all I know,
embracing my wretch of body holding me tight.
In that moment I was in pure silvery Elysium,
Just me and Lucy, in a fantasy of my mind.

I close my lost wandering eyes and dream,
Of sweet roundelays and hear the madrigals sing,
My beloved comes and admits she loves me,
We lean warmly to wards each other until I awake.

I hope one day and I hope it's soon,
where she learns theres no wrong in who I am,
Then I'll say the truth with my emaciated heart,
No more the secret shadow guarding her day and night.

OK I admit this isn't one of my best!

I now hate the girl (with good reason) I wrote this about so I'm changing the Lucy it mentions.
