Broken Essence

by ChaoticStreamOfLife   Jul 29, 2005

Into her hands she placed her face
Sobbing for him, coveting to be in his arms
This became the night of her death
She died to her worse and only fear
Drowning without him loving her
Yes indeed, she drowned into her own tears
Holding out her heart while falling down
But he wasn’t there to be her cure
And grab a hold of her tormented heart
Now she is as dry as dessert plummeting low
Sowing herself shut to block all the anguish
Her blissful essence was left far behind
She became as dark and dead as night
Only by his love will the light shine through
And she’ll become was she once was
