Lost and Found

Been pacing like hell in my whole life,
Been wanting to drop onto the ground,
I’m giving up, I’m raising this knife,
But you said I’m listed on your “Lost and Found”.

Forever heading the opposite direction,
No one’s even there to lead the way,
I couldn’t stop the will of my motion,
If there were graves, silently I’ll lay.

But you told me to hang on and wait still,
But I never hear your footsteps,
Damn you never know how I feel,
Time is drowning me in its murky depths.

I lay on the bed you just offered,
Only to feel monsters each night I sleep,
Where are you when they chase this coward?
You can’t even hear me scream and weep.

Lies are what I’ve expected,
Your silence is what’s killing me,
How I wish you never saw me where I’m headed,
I’ll live my own life, die and be free.

But a slap is what I got from your hand,
And now you’ve come out of your hiding place,
So my words of suicide is my magic wand,
To drag you out and see your face.

But to my surprise you are bitterly crying,
You clasped me tightly and never let go,
You sobbed and told me you’re not lying,
And I feel my blood tears wanting to flow.

Who are you to find a nonsense like me?
You’re wasting time to share me your shelter,
People will cry for you, one day you’ll see,
For keeping a riffraff who can lead you to your murder.

But you said still that you’re here for help,
That I’ll live life to serve some purpose,
That you left me alone to find myself,
In a home where a lost soul goes.

Now your tame eyes wobbled my personality,
Your hands lifted me up from the ground,
I’m a cleansed person now, you just told me,
Thanks for bringing me to your “Lost and Found”.
