The Tolling

By Bee

I whisper softly in your ear
The things I know you dread to hear
And lay my hands, soaked in red
Upon the knife that on your bed
Just close your mouth and dry your tears
I am the darkness from your fears
I'm the shadows from your blackest dreams
Choke on your blood it'll muffle your screams
And when your dead we'll toll the bell
And watch your spirits sink to hell
We'll lay red roses on your grave
And hope your soul is strong and brave
