Once a Beautiful Face

by ChaoticStreamOfLife   Jul 29, 2005

Oh you beautiful face, why so sad
Take a look at everything you once had
You once conquered it all
And through whatever you stood so tall
But when you saw that open door
You entered inside and fell to the floor
He was what became of you
And you became somebody so new
You lost all your precious beauty
Now, you are oh so alone and empty
You had many friends all around
And laughter was your favorite sound
But now you hide into your solitude
And became a lifeless drinking prude
Oh you beautiful face, open up and see
You threw yourself away just to be
With the one who didn’t love you back
Now the great life you had is what you lack
You allowed him to take the best of you
My once beautiful face, upon it despair grew
