I've been waiting for you but it's not seeming to help me,
I've been praying for you and I hope that you see,
that I just want to be there, just want to support you,
yeah, I just want to stand by your side, and do anything I can do,
I drop down to my knees and begin to pray,
I pray that you will stay,
but I know that you won't, so I now pray for something new,
I pray for your happiness, yes I do,
now wait, here we go, heart broken,
and then comes the show, tears sokin,
for I know that I shall be alone to mope,
and I cry one more time, but I'm still hoping against hope,
that you'll be here for me, yet even if you're not,
