Maybe one day Ill be pretty enough. Maybe one day Ill be smart enough. Maybe one day Ill be perfect enough.

Maybe my eyes will shine just right. Maybe the stars will fall one night. Maybe I can get my halo back, shiny and bright.

Maybe he'll hear my heart scream his name. Maybe he'll feel the butterflies I feel today. Maybe one day he wont be afraid.

Maybe if I could do some thing right. Maybe If I knew what to say. Maybe if I were anybody other than me.

Maybe if I stopped pushing the past. Maybe if my happiness would last. Maybe if my love were unsurpassed.
