Voices In My Head

by Lucy D1am0nd   Aug 1, 2005

These voices in my head,
I'm not sure what they say.
But it's them, I'm pretty sure,
Help me through life, day to day.

They're the only one's that listen,
They're the only one's who'll stay.
And when no one is around,
It's like the voices come out to play.

It's not like they tell me to burn things,
Or run around naked all day.
Or tell me to jump off tall buildings,
I can make that decision my way.

But none the less, They're up there,
Jabbering away.
Talking about god knows what,
And what they'll say today.

These voices help me write my poems,
They know stuff even I didn't realize.
But I spose they would know best,
Because they see things through my eyes.

Now the voices have gone quite,
There's nothing left to say.
A tribute to these voices,
I hope you'll always stay.
