To Laura

by Michelle   Aug 2, 2005

Laura, girl, you've stuck with me for nearly eight years
you were there in the happiness,
and wiped away my tears
I just want to tell you
how much it really means
to have someone to count on
someone who lets me lean
but then rights me up
and tells me to be strong
praises me when I'm right
corrects me when I'm wrong
directs me when i sway
from the path that i should take
lets me have my fun
but not that last slice of cake
helps me up when i fall
pulls me off my knees
always sticks around
and doesn't care if i say please
You're the friend everyone wants
I'm the luckiest girl alive
without you girl, I'm lost
I need my first friend to survive

*TO LAURA, THANKS FOR BEING THERE FOR ME AND STICKING WITH ME FOR ALL THESE YEARS! I LOVE YOU LIKE A SISTER GIRL!
