I haven’t written a poem in a long time
I haven’t said a word that’s meant anything
Like I’m living my life as a mime
My eyes are frozen
Looking forward
As I live my life in the past
How did I get here?
Time flew by so fast
I haven’t written a poem in a long time
I remember when it made me feel so much better
But I haven’t written a single word
Since my last love letter
I feel depressed and mad
For half a second I’m happy
And the rest of the day I’m sad
I’m lost in my emotions
There dancing in my mind
I’m looking for some peace
Hoping one day soon I will find
Sincerity, love, and if I may
I hope one day I find you
