Drawing a blank
no words inside
head full of thoughts
too many to hide

countless pages
crossed out words
so many combinations
each sounding absurd

on paper, words clarify emotions
express what we cannot say
what we will not speak aloud
with hope it will fade away

its not that simple
it never has been
so people hide
not knowing where to begin
