Chinese Eyes
by Jesika Williams

You see the world through a different view,
Discovering things you never knew.
Seeing the world through a slant,
Although you are only as tiny as an ant.

What will you grow up to be?
What will you grow up to see?
Will you be successful and see great things?
Or will your eyes see grief to make them sting?

Will you see a world of love?
Will you get to heaven and see God above?
Will your eyes see colors so brilliant and bright?
Will they fill the world with a big, warm light?

Are you prepared for some of the big things ahead?
Although now your are just asleep in your bed?
You’ll be so great and touch the skies,
Seeing the world through your Chinese Eyes.
