Lonely In The Darkness

by Kitty   Aug 4, 2005

A girl walks down an aisle
In her black, rag like gown
Demons with red eyes stare at her like an imbecile
Like a piece of prey waiting to be taken down

She glides down with tears
falling down her white skinned face
each row passed, a hand tried to tear
at her, while she wished she could run from this place

she starts to turn around and run
suddenly, she is in a closed room
she picks up a black marker and drew a sun
she then wrote the problems she faced, full of doom

soon to be heard a deadly lullaby
which she twirls in circles, insanely
she screams all her anger and pain that went by
lonely in the darkness, so much anger and insanity

as she falls to the ground
she stares blankly at the black ceiling
thinking of her true love never to be found
in the darkness, which is sealing

sealing, caving around her heart
like leeches searching for fresh blood
while she wonders why her and her love part
why she couldn't stand up when she could

because she didn't want to move
to stop loving him as he did her
but it wasn't just love that didn't move
her, it was the pain that EVERYONE caused her

she started to get up and lifted her head up
she saw a bright light under a door
Which just appeared and she thanked the gods she wasn't stuck
she opened the door to an icy mountain, snow galore

she looks down at her clothing
which is a winter coat made for heavy duty
she starts to look around her, nodding
she adores the mountains, she needs no immunity

she spots her lover at her cabin
waving for her to come
all she could think about everything happened
was all a memory, and knew she found her home

out of the lonely darkness
out of the horrors and pain she faced
out of the darkness
where she found her home, happiness and place

where she belonged.......
