Sorry Mr. C

by Prisci Cabezas   Aug 6, 2005

Sorry Mr. C
I tried to pay attention
But your voice drowns on forever
And it’s like I’m in detention

This is my punishment
But why, I don’t understand
Now my eyes are starting to shut
As my head rests on my hand

I’m sorry Mr. C
But your jokes are far from funny
I just can’t fake a laugh for you
Without feeling like a dummy

You can chuckle and make faces
All you want
But that just gives us all
More reason to taunt

So sorry Mr. C
If I don’t die laughing
But the most fun we have during your class
Is the time that we spend napping

I’ll try to remember the lessons you taught
Your comments, jokes, and tests
But what I’ll remember most about your class
Is the face-plants on all the desks
