Eternity - No goodbye

by kel   Aug 7, 2005

Her hands cold and blue
A smile frozen upon her lips,
Her hair cascading to her hips
But my love for her, will always be true

Holding a white rose,
Resting upon her chest
Her hands around it closed,
Dressed in all her best.

As they close the coffin lid
And lower her into the ground
Tears run down my cheeks
Falling without a sound.

So into the hole I threw
Two red roses, one for me and one for her
And attached to theirs stems
A note clearly read:

I will not say Goodbye
Cos, before you know it
I’ll be with you soon
Coming to spend eternity,
With you,
Forever and always
I love you.
