Wrong Time Right

by eternitySOlong   Aug 9, 2005

*This poem was written by to my best friend. She lost her virginity at the wrong time in her life.*

One moment of pleasure can become an eternal mistake
On your way to self-discovery, choose wisely the path you wish to take
Unsure about the choices given to you
You fall for the pressure, what HE wants to do
Words are powerful things to use
What's important are the ones that you choose
Just open your mouth, speak your mind
And self-respect you'll always find
No one can answer these questions for you
Your scared silence should have been his only clue
At the wrong time, you gave yourself away
I wish you could go back and redo that day
I can't image what you're going through
You're still my baby girl, my baby sister, and I love you
I know you're hurt and you regret it all
But you're doing so good, don't let yourself fall
I don't know what to do, what to say
Still I know you're strong, you're going to be okay
This was just one stumble, just one trip
We're all here for you, we'll never let you slip
