Curse

by Samey   Aug 10, 2005

I’m running away,
But you’re running right after,
Yelling for me to stop,
But I can’t, I see the hunger in your eyes,
You’re slowly catching up,
But I can’t run any faster,
You jump on me and I collapse,
We fall to the ground,

Your hands are around my neck,
Strangling me slowly,
And I can’t die knowing,
That the last thing I see is your hideous face,
Staring down at me with pleasure,
As you force me not to breath,
I’ve never felt so helpless,
I can hear the voices fading, you’re fading,

I wake with a start, breathing,
Visions float through my mind,
You’ve haunted me since that day,
You almost killed me, yet I got away,
Is that why you’re so mad now?
I evaded your curse of death,
And thousands of lifetimes will pass,
With you hunting me relentlessly,
Face the pain that you won’t catch me.
